EmpowerRF: The Comprehensive Vaginal Rejuvenation Treatment

Home|Archives forHair Removal

The test of time is not always kind to vaginal health. The delicate tissues of the female anatomy are not exempt from the atrophying process that the rest of the body’s skin experiences with age. When such laxity impinges on enjoying a high quality of life, vaginal rejuvenation treatment is in order.

There are many procedures available to women to revitalize the intimate tissues, but the best noninvasive and holistic methods are found within Advanced Electrolysis’ EmpowerRF processes. The right EmpowerRF package can help restore your self-confidence and improve the quality of your life.

The Need for Vaginal Rejuvenation

Time takes its toll on all of the body’s tissues. The intimate tissue of the vagina is no different; in fact, the effects are often more pronounced in such delicate tissue, especially after the influences of childbirth and menopause are taken into account. These natural processes alone can lead to vaginal scarring, laxity, dryness, and bladder control issues.

women's intimate health UT north Ogden

Historically, women had to embrace these concerns as part of life. They had to cope with atrophying tissues, sagging skin in and around the genitalia, and reduced feeling and functionality. Eventually, treatments emerged to address these issues, but the procedures were highly invasive, complicated, and expensive, including such methods as kegel exercises, hormonal replacement, and gynecological surgery.

With the introduction of more natural and healthy vaginal rejuvenation treatments such as the EmpowerRF, women can take control of their vaginal health in a more powerful way, restoring proper function, feeling, and comfort. Everything from better bladder control to greater confidence results from treatments such as VTone, FormaV, and Morpheus8V. With the Empower RF vaginal rejuvenation treatments, women experience positive changes in their daily lives, from improved sexual experiences to worry- and pain-free daily routines.

Exploring EmpowerRF

EmpowerRF is a combination of three unique vaginal rejuvenation treatment technologies customized to each individual’s specific needs. By following a vaginal rejuvenation program that incorporates different treatments strategies, women can be sure that they are receiving the precise care that they need based on their symptoms or concerns.

VTone

The VTone process employs the use of Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) to strengthen the muscles of the pelvic floor. Better strength allows for better control, mitigating the negative effects of mixed incontinence, urge, and stress. The VTone itself is a small tool that distributes EMS to stimulate and exercise the pelvic muscles. It works as a kind of targeted strength training so unwanted urinary leaking can be a thing of the past.

FormaV

The FormaV vaginal rejuvenation treatment uses heat to stimulate collagen production in the inner vaginal walls and the inner and outer labia. The FormaV device distributes radiofrequency (RF) heat, boosting the production of both collagen and elastin. This tightens and tones vaginal tissue while also improving its elasticity. The result is better definition, reduced urinary incontinence, moisture restoration, and increased sensation.

FormaV is recommended for those who have experienced the most common effects of childbirth and aging, including laxity, undesired labia length, dryness, and decreased sensation. It is also an ideal treatment for hemorrhoid reduction because it does not require surgical interference. For the best results, FormaV is commonly combined with VTone treatments.

Morpheu8V

Morpheus8V works along the same principles as FormaV, incorporating RF therapy, but it takes things one step further. By incorporating microneedling technology, this vaginal rejuvenation treatment offers more proactive and advanced results. Morpheus8V uses a handheld device with microneedles safely insulated in gold to stimulate the body’s targeted healing response. This process, with roots in the ancient medicine of acupuncture, combined with the gentle heat of RF energy, can dramatically improve vaginal health.

Morpheus8V is the only treatment on the market reported to improve all three of the most common vaginal issues: atrophy and dryness, urinary leaks, and diminished sexual responsiveness and enjoyment. Morpheus8V increases blood flow and remodels the inner and outer labia of intimate areas, offering the benefits of labiaplasty without the need for surgery. It can also eliminate urinary incontinence, reduce laxity, restore vaginal moisture, tone the labia and surrounding tissue, and remove hemorrhoids, all by stimulating collagen production.

At Advanced Electrolysis & MedSpa, we support your overall wellbeing, and the treatments we offer are designed to help you feel beautiful inside and out. The EvolveX treatment is just one of the many methods we use to achieve these ends. Today we explore what EvolveX is and what it can do for your overall health.

What Is EvolveX?

The Evolvex treatment has been described as “the ultimate hands-free platform for a body transformation.” It is a non-surgical form of treatment that achieves surgical levels of success. The device uses bi-polar radiofrequency (RF) and electromagnetic energy to stimulate natural bodily functions and transform both inside and out. These are just a few of the results patients can expect from regular EvolveX treatments:

  • -Fat reduction
  • -Muscle stimulation
  • -Skin tightening
  • -Tissue remodeling

EvolveX has been approved by the FDA for body contouring.

What Does the EvolveX Treatment Entail?

In a world of overwhelming and ever-increasing options for body sculpting, the demand for non-invasive treatments is at an all-time high. EvolveX is ideal in that respect, achieving impressive results without surgery or medication. It also offers several technologies in one all-inclusive platform.

The device combines muscle-stimulating probes with a computer interface, complete with a complex algorithm to monitor subdermal tissue. The device monitors how the body responds to radio and electromagnetic stimulation to ensure that such signals are administered at optimal levels. With 1,000 readings a second, accuracy is assured.

The radiofrequency waves employed are gentle on the skin and completely safe while the electromagnetic stimulation applied to the muscles can be found in any chiropractic or physical therapy office. Both waves facilitate deep penetration into the skin and tissues to boost elastin and collagen production as well as tighten underlying skin structure. While rebuilding your skin structure, it also destroys fat cells.

The EvolveX treatment can be used on its own or in combination with other procedures depending on the desired results and the recommendation of your wellness practitioner.

Even on its own, the EvolveX device can administer several different kinds of treatment, all without the incisions, recovery period, and intrinsic risks of surgery.

The Three Modalities of EvolveX

The EvolveX treatment system combines multiple methods, each designed to achieve different results. This makes the system highly customizable and each treatment tailored to the patient.

Tite

Evolve Tite utilizes bipolar radiofrequency (RF) to treat skin and improve its appearance. The Tite modality is ideal for those who want to remodel their skin’s appearance, minimizing loose or sagging skin and cellulite.

Using six hands-free applicators, the system applies uniform and volumetric heating to the skin and subdermal layer to stimulate collagen production. This results in tightened skin in affected areas and an overall fresher appearance. The treatment is common for those over 30, which is when the body reduces the amount of collagen produced.

Tone

The Tone capabilities of the EvolveX treatment focus on the administration of electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to simulate involuntary muscle contractions. The goal of the treatment is to target and strengthen specific muscle groups. It mirrors the effect of doing 1,000 squats or sit-ups within 30 minutes, using only four applicators arranged in the targeted area.

By taking advantage of the body’s natural processes of cellular metabolism and muscle fiber regeneration, Evolve Tone can produce greater muscle strength and a more toned and refined appearance in the muscles.

Transform

Evolve Transform is the powerful result of combining EvolveX’s two procedures. It utilizes both RF and EMS for a truly transformative process. The application of bipolar radiofrequency energy heats adipose cells to 43 °C, initiating apoptosis (process of programmed cell death). Following the death of the fat cells, the body naturally processes and eliminates them through the excretory system.

During Evolve Transform, the RF process is combined with the administration of electrical muscle stimulation. This stimulates muscle contraction even as dead cellulite is sloughed away. Combining the two modalities creates a synergistic layering treatment that provides consistent transformative results.

Considering EvolveX?

If you are looking for a profound body transformation with consistent and reliable results, EvolveX might be right for you. EvolveX can target the stomach and abdomen, buttocks, love handles, waist, hips, back, knees, and the triceps. Ideal candidates are those who are close to their target BMI but who struggle with stubborn areas of excess body fat or unwanted loose skin (perhaps the result of weight loss or pregnancy).

However, the treatments available through EvolveX are a great addition to those seeking weight loss as it will help to tighten the loose skin as weight is lost, tone the underlying muscle, and rebuilding the lost skin structure . The EvolveX treatment works most effectively in conjunction with healthy lifestyle habits. Speak to a member of our Advanced Electrolysis & MedSpa team for more information.

Utah north ogden laser hair removal

You may have wondered which is best, laser hair removal or electrolysis? At Advanced Electrolysis and MedSpa, we offer both of these treatments to help people remove stubborn hair and avoid the hassle. Many of our clients may not know the difference between the two procedures or is curious about what procedure is right for them. Because each is so similar, either process may help you achieve results, so here is a breakdown of each.

Laser Hair Removal

The basis of laser hair removal is that a laser emits energy that is absorbed by the pigment in the hair. The heat absorbed damages the hair and cauterizes the blood vessels when the hair is attached to the blood vessels. Hair in different parts of the body grow at different intervals and is attached to the blood vessels for only a couple of short weeks. It is why multiple treatments are needed at various weekly increments.

Cauterizing the hair root and blood vessels puts the hair in a dormant state. Over time the dormant hair can be activated due to hormonal changes, medications, and topical irritations. However, when the hair grows back it is found to be lighter. We recommend receiving a touch up laser treatment yearly or utilize electrolysis as the hair sporadically grows back for permanency. Besides potential regrowth, other side effects of using lasers could be redness in the skin, irritation, or slight pigmentation changes in the skin. These side effects usually go away quickly after treatment, but contact your doctor if irritation occurs.

The downside of laser hair removal is that it does not work best on all hair types. Individuals with blonde, gray, red, white hairs are not good candidates due to the lack of pigment in their hair. All skin types and colors are treatable with laser when using the correct modality. However, those with darker coloring will require additional treatments beyond the typical 6. Those with lighter skin and dark hair are best because a stronger energy level is able to be used. This is due to the fact that the skin will not pigmented to absorb the energy and be damaged.

Electrolysis

The procedure of electrolysis is the only method for hair removal that has been found to be permanent and FDA-approved. Unlike laser, electrolysis destroys the two areas that will activate and feed the hair. A small probe, smaller than the thickness of your hair, is inserted into the opening of each hair follicle damaging the germ cells in the two specific areas with either a small current or heat. By targeting and destroying both areas, the hair will no longer be fed through the blood vessels and will no longer be able to be activated into growth.

When performed by a licensed electrologist there is little to no risk of infection or side effects from the procedure. Individuals may experience a little redness or tenderness after treatment but will slowly dissipate throughout the day. Clients have shared that treatments feel similar to a pinprick. How strong of a pinprick depends upon the area and the sensitivity of the individual.

Those with all hair types and colors can benefit from electrolysis, and it can be used on more areas than what laser hair removal is able to safety treat, even eyebrows.

Laser Hair Removal or Electrolysis: Which Is Right For You?

Patients who experience excessive hair growth or do not want to deal with the hassle of shaving can benefit from either procedure or a combination of the two.

Laser is quicker and able to treat larger areas in a fraction of the time. Whereas electrolysis is a methodical approach destroying each individual hair follicle through multiple treatments. Individuals dealing with hormonal imbalances may benefit more from electrolysis as the hair follicles will be activated quicker if only laser is used.

The Investment Of Hair Removal

Both procedures have their own affordability. Laser costs depend upon the area and the size of that area. In addition, it will range depending upon the type of laser equipment used. The underarms area range in cost of about $90. If treated properly, 6-8 treatments would be needed for 80-90% clearance. However, it is a quick procedure in comparison to electrolysis in that a whole area is able to be treated in one sitting.

Electrolysis costs are dependent upon the time of length scheduled. The longer the appointment, the greater the cost with the more individual hair follicles treated. Individual sessions vary from 15 minutes at $30 to 1 hour at $90. If a larger area or an area with a larger amount of hair is be treated, sessions longer than 1 hour can be accommodated. Multiple treatments to each individual hair follicle will be needed over a length of time, so it is an investment. However, the outcome of permanency is the weighing factor.
